ASSESSMENT
TEST
AND
INTERVIEW
Students who have had some experience
in learning the language are given a written and oral aptitude test to assess
their level with greater precision. The
written part of the test takes about 60 minutes while the oral interview lasts
approximately 20 minutes. Once the
students' strongest and weakest points are identified, the target level the
student wishes to reach and the time frame within which to attain it can be
determined.
INTERVIEW
The interview provides an opportunity
for Interlink to explain to individual students the foundations of the school's
teaching philosophy, and provide a detailed outline of the teaching methods and
textbooks employed. It also represents
an occasion for students to get acquainted with the instructors and to
formulate any question or doubt they may have about any aspect of the school's
system.
TRIAL
LESSON
Once these steps are completed,
students are invited to attend a trial lesson of the instructor in charge of their
particular level, to get a better feel for classroom dynamics, pace of
instruction and student interaction.
